Title: Tales of Mystery and Terror

Authur: Edgar Allan Poe

Summary:

I found the concept of this book quite interesting, beacause instead of having one long story going on for twenty chapters, you have a new story at each chapter!  The fact that each chapter is different makes it nearly impossible to get bored of the book, also, I quite enjoy horror books, and in this book, it’s all about horror, screams, murder, and more!  If you get bored of reading long stories, I would say that this is the book for you!

Title: David Copperfield

Authur: Charles Dickens

summary:

         David copperfield lives a sad, sad life.  he was born three months after his father’s death, but atleast he had his mother and his aunt.  But his mother remarried to an evil man named mr. murdstone.  He beat David with his cane and sent him to school in london.  On his birthday, he was still in school, he received a package from his aunt, he expected a gift, but it was just a note saying «your mother and baby brother are dead».  this did not help with his sorrow.  And now his step-father (mr. murdstone) fired his nany (or his aunt) and is sending him to work in england to pay his rent.

Title: Gulliver’s Travels

Summary:

This is the story of a young man who was always inspired by traveling around the world, so he became a ship doctor, he traveled around the world with his crew for many years, then one day while at sea his ship crashed killing nearly all his crew mates. With his last bit of strenght he made it to shore and fainted from shear fatigue. when he awoke, he was surrounded by many people but these people were’nt regualar people, they were all two inches tall! He tried talking to them but they didn’t speak his language...

Title: Oliver Twist

Summary:

Oliver is an orphan, his mother died as he was born.  he had lived in shaggy old workhouses withe other orphans and lived off of thin soup.  One day, he ran away heading towards London, they could never find him in that great city.  He met with a gang of robbers, but he didn’t now that until after they recruited him. He doesn’t know how he’ll get out of this one!
